This change in direction will see us moving away from the development of hardware for Internet Radio based around our famous Barracuda and Stingray modules and moving our focus to our server side products where we can offer support for all Internet connected media streaming products. We will continue to support our key module based partners, including The Audio Partnership, Grace Digital, and Rotel, but we are not actively seeking new opportunities.
Reciva Connect Plus (RCP)
Reciva Connect Plus is a web service API that includes our massive Internet Radio Stations Directory as well as partner services from companies such as Aupeo!, MediaFly, SiriusXM, and many more. What makes RCP unique is its method of combining the many disparate partner services into a single API, dramatically reducing product development and deployment costs. RCP is already proven as it powers every Reciva module ever produced, is deployed in iPhone and Android based applications and has an imminent release on the WebOS platform. We are also working on exciting opportunities in Tablets, Hotel TV, and In-Car. With the rapidly changing landscape in hardware based, net-connected audio solutions the decision to focus on RCP gives our customers a shorter time to market and a much increased flexibility in the look and feel (UI) of any given product.
Future:
We will continue to feature enhance and extend our Internet Radio database whilst adding more partner API's, including still picture and video services. As well as streamlining the development environment, RCP makes it even easier to add net-connected audio/video to both CE and B2B products. In the future we look to offer support for emerging technologies such as CE-HTML.
